Terms & Booking Conditions

The terms on which appointments are booked and treatments provided at Cleanse Studio Surrey.

Last updated: July 2026

These terms apply to all appointments booked with Cleanse Studio Surrey, 26 Water Mead, Chipstead, Coulsdon, CR5 3NU. By booking an appointment you agree to them. Please read them before you book.

1. Nature of the service

Colon hydrotherapy is a complementary therapy. It is not a medical treatment, it does not diagnose, treat or cure any medical condition, and it is not a substitute for advice from your GP or another qualified healthcare professional.

Nothing said or written by Cleanse Studio Surrey should be taken as medical advice. If you have ongoing symptoms, please see your doctor.

2. Suitability and your responsibilities

Before your first treatment you must complete a health questionnaire. You agree to give complete and accurate information about your health, medical history, medication, supplements, allergies and any recent surgery, and to tell us of any changes before subsequent appointments.

We reserve the right to decline or stop a treatment at any point if, in our judgement, it would not be safe or appropriate for you. Where a treatment is declined on these grounds before it begins, no charge is made.

Treatments are provided to adults aged 18 and over only.

3. Booking and payment

  • Appointments are confirmed once we have acknowledged them by email, message or phone.
  • Payment is due at the appointment, by card or bank transfer, unless prepaid online.
  • Courses of treatment are paid in full at the first session.
  • Prices are shown on our Prices page and may change, but the price confirmed at the time of booking is the price you pay.

4. Cancellations, changes and missed appointments

We are a single-therapist studio, so a cancelled slot at short notice usually cannot be filled.

  • More than 24 hours’ notice: reschedule or cancel free of charge.
  • Less than 24 hours’ notice: we reserve the right to charge up to the full appointment fee, or to deduct one session from a course.
  • Missed appointments with no notice: charged in full.
  • Arriving late: we will do our best to treat you, but the session may be shortened and the full fee still applies.

We apply this reasonably. If you are unwell, or something genuinely unavoidable happens, please just tell us — we would much rather you stayed at home.

If we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we will offer you the earliest alternative slot or a full refund of anything paid.

5. Courses of treatment

  • Courses are for one named person and cannot be shared or transferred.
  • The course of three is valid for six months; the course of six for twelve months. Sessions unused after that point expire.
  • Courses are non-refundable once the first session has been taken, except where required by law or where we determine that further treatment is not appropriate for you — in which case unused sessions are refunded pro rata.

6. Gift vouchers

Gift vouchers are valid for twelve months from the date of purchase, are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. The recipient must still complete a health questionnaire and meet the suitability criteria.

7. Your right to cancel a course

Where you book and pay for a course remotely — online, by phone or by message — you have the right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 to cancel within 14 days. If you ask us to begin treatment within that period, we may charge for any sessions already provided.

8. Behaviour

We do not treat anyone who is intoxicated, or who behaves in a way that is abusive, threatening or inappropriate. In those circumstances the appointment will be ended and charged in full.

9. Liability

We take reasonable care in providing treatments. We are not liable for any adverse effect arising from incomplete or inaccurate information you have given us, or from failure to follow aftercare advice.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

Personal belongings are brought to the studio at your own risk.

10. Privacy

Information you give us is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of your treatment, please contact us at [email protected] or on +44 7792 100984. We will acknowledge your complaint within five working days and aim to resolve it within 28 days.

12. General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force is the one published here at the time of your booking.
